Can I Help You?
You might be wondering if my approach will work for your particular situation. So I thought I'd tell
you about the people that I typically work with and about the issues that they face.
My clients come from every walk of life, occupation and age range including:
- Company Directors as well as Stay at home Mums
- Small Business owners as well as Retirees
- People in the prime of their career as well as people just entering the workforce
- University Professors as well as students
Although all of my clients are completely unique individuals, they usually have one in common.
There is something that they really want to change about themselves. And they've tried
everything they can to make that change happen, but they still can't.
See if any of the following scenarios sound familiar to you:
|
|
You've tried will power, determination and effort. You have more
determination to change than most people and you certainly put in the effort to. Once you've
decided that you want to change something, you summon your willpower, strengthen your resolve and
do everything you can to make it happen.
Sooner or later though, the inevitable happens. The change that you were once so motivated to
achieve never eventuates, and if it does, it's rarely permanent.
Then you are right back where you
started. The only difference is that now you're also feeling defeated and thinking that you've let
yourself down.

|
You've tried every latest "Secret" to success. You've read all the books,
attended personal development workshops and maybe even walked over hot coals at a weekend seminar.
When you decide that you want to change something about yourself, you do all the "right" things.
Maybe you say a hundred affirmations a day, create a "vision board", try to think only
positive thoughts or use any number of "Secrets" to make this change a reality.
But it doesn't work. "What am I doing wrong?" you ask yourself as you are left feeling
disheartened and disempowered.

You do OK for a while but then
you revert back to that old behaviour. When you first start out, you're full of
motivation and commitment to your goal. Making the change that you want to seems easy. It's like
you're being carried along by your enthusiasm and you feel like nothing can stop you from achieving
what you want.
Then….. It happens. That bump in the road that throws you off centre and you engage in that old
habit or behaviour "just this once". But then there are more bumps. And more. And before you know
it, you've fallen back into those old patterns again.

|
You feel as though you are sabotaging your own efforts to make
changes. It's not that you actually want to fail. In fact, you really want to
succeed. But every time things are starting to go well, you do something that sabotages your
success.
At the time, you may not even be conscious of that fact that you are sabotaging yourself. In
fact, everything you do seems to make sense at the time. It's only after the event that you become
all too aware that you've shot yourself in the foot.

No matter which of these situations you find yourself in, I can help
you.
It doesn't matter how long you've had the particular issue, behaviour or habit that you want to
change.
What does matter is that:
|
|
You can take responsibility for your life
|
|
You are willing to ask for help as well as willing to help yourself |
|
|
You want to change for yourself and not just to please someone else
